Let's Meet for Lunch!
Our speaker this year will be Nada Mustafa Ali, Assistant Professor of Critical Inclusion Studies, School for Social Inclusion and Social Development, University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. Ali will give a talk titled, “‘We Are Still Here’: Women, Care and Solidarity in Sudan’s Conflict.”
She is an interdisciplinary & transdisciplinary educator, researcher and writer who uses critical theory (from a feminist perspective) to engage with questions of power and the intersection of gender, race, ethnicity, social class, disability, and other aspects of difference in Sudan, South Sudan, and beyond. Dr. Ali has written extensively and published in both Arabic and English.
